Uncle was an honourable man, funny, loving, protective and a good cook! Many ways not many people have in one. It’s such a blessing he and my daughter bonded. Being around family, uncle always made sure we were okay. It is such a joy to have had memories stored in my head and I know he is looking down with a smile knowing how much love and support there is. I pray grief only gets better as time goes by and I thank God uncle Sledge had many many memories and built such a lovely foundation amongst his family. Love you uncle, until we meet again
